Brian Young rides hot start to finish as medalist at Sky Mountain Qualifier
Brian Young -2 (70) birdied 4 of the first 5 holes to gain a lead that he never relinquished at the Senior and Super Senior State Am Qualifier at Sky Mountain Golf Course. Young was the only player to finish under par and the next closest player shot +5 (77).
The cut came at +5 (77) for the Senior Division with 3 players qualifying for the State Am. For the Super Senior division, the cut came at +10 (82) with 2 players qualifying. The Senior and Super Senior State Amateur will take place at Bonneville Golf Course from August 23 to August 26.
