THE COURSE
Huntsman Springs is located at the base of the spectacular Teton Mountains. The golf course is a 7,613-yard par 72 links design with Irish Fescue rough surrounding the bluegrass fairways and greens.
UTAH'S LINE-UP
Utah's line-up this week will consist of: Senior Kyler Dunkle, junior Jordan Costello, sophomores Tristan Mandur and Blake Tomlinson, along with freshman Axel Einarsson. The same five-man team competed in last week's Gopher Invitational for the Utes.
The Utes will also have four student-athletes competing as individuals in the event. Juniors Mitchell Schow and Peyton Hastings, redshirt freshman Colton Tanner, and true freshman Jonathan Wijono will make the trip to Idaho.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah golf opened its 2018-19 season last Sunday and Monday at the Gopher Invitational in Independence, Minn. The Utes finished the event in 10th place with a combined score of 22-over par (874) in the 15-team field.
The Utes were led by senior Kyler Dunkle and freshman Axel Einarsson who finished in a tie for 32nd place with three-round scores of 6-over par (219).
FIRING FRESHMAN
Freshman Axel Einarsson made his Ute debut last week at the Gopher Invitational. Einarsson came out of the gates with strong play and went on to lead the Utes in the first round of the event. Einarsson finished tied as the high Ute with Dunkle in just his first outing of the season to set the tone for his collegiate career.
ABOVE AVERAGE
During the 2017-18 season, Kyler Dunkle and Blake Tomlinson recorded the lowest single season scoring averages since Dustin Pimm recorded an average of 71.7 strokes back in the 2006-07 season. Tomlinson led the team with a scoring average of 71.5 strokes over 37 rounds last season during his freshman year. Dunkle finished his junior year averaging 71.6 strokes over 31 rounds to follow his teammate and make his mark in the Utah golf record book.
UP NEXT
The Utes will head back to the Mark Simpson Collegiate to defend their team title from a year ago, as well as the individual title earned by Dunkle last year during his junior campaign. Hosted by Colorado, the two-day event will run Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 24-25, in Erie, Colo.
