Juniors Light It Up at Talons, Stokes, Schow Advance to Nationals
Utah Junior Golf is alive and well. Just look at the scores fired at the qualifying of the USGA National Junior Championship at Talons Cove Monday.
Jaece Stokes won the qualifying with consecutive under par rounds of 71-66-137 and that was barely good enough to edge Mitchell Schow who shot a second round 64 and closed to within a shot of Stokes after posting a 74 in the morning round.
In all there were eight junior golfers who posted 36-hole scores of par or better, but only two get to go to the USGA championship, Stokes and Schow.
