Recognizing Excellence
in the Game of Golf
UGA Gold Club Award
The UGA Gold Club Award is presented annually to an individual who, through significant achievement or unselfish service, has contributed to the history and tradition of the game of golf in Utah, and whose personal integrity, sportsmanship, common courtesy, loyalty and friendship earn the love and respect of fellow golfers.
Utah Golf Hall of Fame
Selection to the Utah Golf Hall of Fame is based on outstanding playing achievements or significant accomplishments in other aspects of the game and individuals must have significant association with golf in Utah.
UGA Woman Award
The UGA Woman Award is presented annually to a Utah woman golfer who exemplifies giving back to the game locally through her participation, particularly through her passion, love, and respect for advancing women’s golf. This award recognizes her as a leader, friend, and inspiration to her peers.
Volunteer of the Year Award
The UGA could not function in the same capacity without the dedicated help of our volunteers — extraordinary people who give their time and energy back to the game we all love in many different capacities. Each year, the UGA recognizes one volunteer who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and contribution to the UGA with our Volunteer of the Year award.
Player of the Year Awards, Presented by Primo
Each year, men, senior men, women, and senior women compete in hopes of ending up on top of the UGA Player Performance Rankings in their respective divisions. If a player is on top at the end of the season, they etch their name in history and earn the coveted UGA Player of the Year Award.
Charles Nibley Excellence in Golf Promotion Special Recognition Honor
The UGA’s Excellence in Golf Promotion Special Recognition Honor is for individuals who have made a significant contribution to the development, improvement, growth, or related promotion of golf facilities, programs, events, or organizations.
