Korn Ferry Tour Utah Championship

The Korn Ferry Tour’s Utah Championship, presented by Zions Bank, never fails to produce intriguing storylines, crazy finishes and weather disruptions, and the 2022 version was no different.
But there was an additional twist, much to the delight of local golf fans — and fans of Brigham Young University’s men’s golf team. No fewer than seven golfers with BYU ties — five former Cougars and two current Cougars — made the field at Oakridge Country Club.
That’s gotta be some sort of record. With apologies to all the non-BYU fans out there, the Utah Championship had the threat of becoming the BYU Championship — until a rookie longshot from Auburn rallied late and stole the show.
