A Weekend of Golf in Southern Utah

Shane McMillan captured his second win of the senior amateur golf season last weekend at the Coral Canyon Senior Amateur while across town, Crimson Cliffs High School sophomore Boston Bracken was carding the competitive course record in the final round of The Ledges Spring Amateur.
Completing three days of Utah Golf Association Player Performance Ranking events, the rescheduled Hurricane City Amateur crowned Dixie State University’s Davis Heslington as its champion on Sunday Feb. 27.
BYU women’s golf commit Berlin Long, a Lone Peak High School senior, took home the first women’s amateur title of the year from the Hurricane City Am at Sky Mountain GC.
Keep an eye out for Austin Jones (photo), the eighth grade, 14-year old little brother of Tyler (SUU), Zac (BYU) and Cooper (UGA Player of the Year) Jones. The youngest Jones family member claimed the top spot of the Hurricane City Am Net Division.
