Tomlinson & Tanner Take it Deep at Four-Ball Q

With the State Amateur in the rear-view mirror, players turned their attention on the Utah Four-ball championship. The qualifier was held at Bonneville Golf Course on Monday, September 14.

The event saw a low score of 61 (-11) posted by Colton Tanner and Blake Tomlinson—the latter being the runner up in the State Amateur. Their bogey-free card propelled them to the lead on this day. Scores of 62 (-10) were posted by five teams while the cut was set at 65 (-7). No playoff was needed to determine the 16 teams that will compete on Monday and Tuesday, September 21st and 22nd, at Hubbard Memorial Golf Course.

In the Senior Division, Siddens & Child made nine birdies to lead a talented field with the cut line comeing in at -3.

Bill Probst and Mike Hacker cruised to medalist honors for the Super Seniors shooting a -5, 67.
