McMillan Medalist in Senior & State Am Qualifiers at Glenmoor
On Wednesday August 12th, the Utah State Amateur and Senior State Amateur qualifying events took place at Glenmoor Golf Club. The low score in both the senior and regular divisions was a 69, posted by Shane McMillan. A 5 players for 2 spots playoff decided the final qualifiers of the regular qualifying event. Jimmy Secor secured the first playoff spot with a chip-in birdie. It took Jeff Appelbaum 5 playoff holes to lock down his spot.
In the Super Senior Division Dale Christensen of Hidden Valley CC earned medalist honors with a 75 (+3) and Jeff Smith was the lone Net division player under par for the qualifier.
