Richards Medalist at Davis Park
Willard Richards set the standard at Davis Park Golf Course with seven birdies and a bogey to earn medalist honors with a 65. Low qualifying scores continued to be the trend with the cut coming at two under par. Joshua Pehrson playing at his home track carded a 66 to finish in second position. After a few course records shot at the Utah Mid-Amateur in late July, Davis Park showed its toughness for State Amateur qualifying.
