Youth on Course Utah Membership Fee Increase

Dear Youth on Course Utah Members,

The purpose of this letter is to provide all current and future Youth on Course (YOC) Utah members and their guardians with important modifications to the UGA junior membership fee.

Effective November 1, 2019, the UGA junior membership fee, including Youth on Course Utah, will increase from $10 to $20 per member. The entirety of this increase will go directly to the Utah Golf Foundation to assist with subsidizing Youth on Course Utah rounds.

The Utah Golf Foundation (UGF), the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the Utah Golf Association, funds Youth on Course Utah through private contributions from individuals, corporations, clubs, and foundations. In 2018, the UGF subsidized $124,000 to its 31 participating YOC Utah facilities for 20,060 rounds of golf. Through September 2019, the UGF has subsidized $117,000 for 23,419 rounds played. That being said, the $10 increase is necessary to maintain the longevity of Youth on Course Utah.

Remember, in order to be an active Youth on Course Utah member, all juniors, including private club junior members, must select the Youth on Course club as their home club when they join or renew their membership at uga.org. Youth on Course is the first club listed. UGA junior members with an active GHIN number at a club other than Youth on Course are not considered YOC members.

Thank you for supporting Youth on Course Utah. Your participation allows the Utah Golf Foundation to fulfill its mission to financially support programs expanding opportunity and access to those who wish to play the game of golf in Utah.
