Annette Gaiotti Claims Senior Women’s State Am Championship
KAMAS, Utah – Annette Gaiotti won the 2019 Senior Women’s State Amateur at Tuhaye today by defeating Elizabeth Jones 6 & 4 in match play. Gaiotti was the #1 seed coming into the tournament and her play reflected that.
Gaiotti went 1 up on the first hole and never let it go. At the turn she was 3 up and was able to win holes 11 and 12 to go 5 up. She then won the hole and match by parring 14. With how well she played in the Women’s Senior State Amateur, be on the lookout for her to be in the hunt at the Women’s State Amateur later this summer at Logan Country Club.
