Cougars Sixth, Utes Tenth in Arizona
TUSCON, Ariz. –
After a short winter break collegiate golf got back into the swing of things at the Arizona Intercollegiate Championship at the Sewailo Golf Club in Tucson this past weekend. Texas won the title by five shots over Washington. BYU finished sixth and Utah finished tenth. Patrick Fishburn led the Cougars with rounds of 73-71-69-213 and Jose Pelayo led Utah with 72-76-73-221. Beau Hossler of Texas won medalist honors with rounds of 65-70-67-202. Fishburn finished eighth. Next up for both the Cougars and the Utes will be the John Burns Invitational in Hawaii in two weeks, Feb. 17-19.
