Wildcats Sign Colorado Golfer to NLI

OGDEN, Utah — Weber State Director of Golf Jeff Smith has signed Kiselya Plewe from Cortez, Colo. to a National Letter of Intent. Plewe will join the Wildcats for the 2016-17 season.

“We are very excited to have signed Kiselya, and are very eager for her to join our team next season,” said Smith. “She is a great student and a great athlete who will continue to add talent to our roster.”

Plewe attends Montezuma Cortez High School, but plays her golf for Dolores High School, where she is a four-time letterwinner in golf. She received First Team All-State honors as both a sophomore and as a junior after winning every regular season tournament over both seasons. She has finished in the top-11 at the state tournament each year, with an 11th place finish as a freshman, sixth place as a sophomore and fourth place last year as a junior. She also has lettered three times in basketball and was an All-Conference Honorable Mention last year as a junior.
