Summerhays Makes Entry List in World Golf Championship in Shanghai

Daniel Summerhays will be playing in the World Golf Championship this week in Shanghai, China where the purse will be over $9 million and the winner’s take will be over $1 million.

It is a world event and has a limited field restricted to winners of certain major tournaments around the world. The field also includes specific numbers of limited players from the Asian, Japan, and Australasia Tours.

The current qualification categories (as of 2015)[2] are as follows:

Winners of the four major championships and The Players Championship
Winners of the four World Golf Championships
