Finau Finishes Ninth at CIMB Classic in Mexico
All three Utahns on the PGA Tour earned money this past week at the CIMB Classic in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Tony Finau finished ninth with a score of 18 under par on rounds of 71-67-66-66-270. Daniel Summerhays was only two shots behind Finau with rounds of 71-66-69-66-272. Zac Blair made the cut on rounds of 70-71 and then finished with 67-72 for a 280 score.
It was the third event of the year and Finau leads the Utahns in money earnings with a total of $318,187 and that ranks him 14th on tour. Summerhays has pocketed $241,187 and is 20th on the money list.
Blair is off to a much slower start has earned $23,800.
The schedule for November is as follows:
Nov 5-8- Sanderson Farms at Jackson, Mississippi
Nov. 5-8- World Golf Championship, Shanghai, China (Summerhays qualified for tournament)
Nov. 12-15- OHL Classic in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico
Nov. 19-22- McGladrey Classic at Sea Island, Georgia
