White, Dalton Lead Cougars to NMS Title

There were 14 teams entered in the New Mexico State Aggie Women’s Invitational and BYU topped the field with a three round score of 289, five shots ahead of the host team, New Mexico State. The tournament was played at the New Mexico State golf course.

Kendra White and Alex Dalton led the Cougars. They tied for second place individually with two under par scores of 214. Top individual honors went to Viviana Macias of New Mexico State with rounds of 67-72-71-210. White shot 71-72-71-214 and Dalton shot 68-72-74-214.

The only other Utah team entered in the tournament was Utah Valley University and it finished in 13th place. Kalea Heu shot the best score for UVU with rounds of 75-77-79-231
