Crawford Takes SA Medalist Honors at Eaglewood by Three Shots
Cameron Crawford won medalist honors with three shots to spare at the Eaglewood Qualifying for the Utah State Amateur. He shot four under par 67 and the next nearest score was 79 by Ryan Barber.
There were five players who shot 78, but there were only four qualifying spots available. Alex Pasqual, Alan Vabel, Zak Green, and Devin Porter won the spots and Eric Ashcroft became the first alternate.
The tournament permits a second alternate and so the seven players who shot 79 played off for that spot. Cameron Skiby won the spot and Brad Beach, Drew Smith, Spencer Lillywhite, Tyler Moore, Jason Harrison, and Jason Elgrably were left to ponder what could have been.
