Summerhays, Finau Among Leaders at U.S. Open

Daniel Summerhays and Tony Finau are among the leaders at the halfway point of the U.S. Open being played at Chambers Bay in Seattle. They have finished their second round and are tied at three under par 137 which is currently just two of the lead held by Jordan Spieth. More than half the field has not finished their second rounds, but the two former Utah State Am champions are going to be among the leaders going into the weekend.

Summerhays was tied on the top of the leaderboard with Jordan Spieth until he ran into a double bogey on his 16th hole of the day (he played the back nine first and so it was the seventh hole he doubled).

Finau double bogeyed the sixth hole(which was also his back nine for the day). Without those double bogeys the two would be sitting atop the leaderboard with Spieth.
