Rowland Hall Runs Away With 2A Girls Golf Title
Rowland Hall ran away with the 2A Girls High School golf championship Tuesday at St. George Golf Club. It was no contest as Rowland Hall won by 45 points and had the medalist honors and four players in the top ten individual scores. The tournament was played under the Stableford Point System rather than the standard stroke system. The point system counts points instead of strokes and the player with the most points wins.
Rowland Hall’s Zaria Thompson edged Marissa Louder of Millard by just three points for medalist honors. Thompson scored 92 points and Louder had 89. They were well ahead of the rest of the field.
The leading scores are listed below. A complete list of scores can be seen at: http://www.uhsaa.org/golf/2014-15/2AGirlsResults.pdf
