SUU Place Four on Big Sky All-Conference Men’s Golf Team

OGDEN, Utah – The SUU men's golf team placed four golfers on the Big Sky All-Conference teams as announced by the Big sky Conference today.

Nic Booth was placed on the first team after an eighth place finish at the conference championships. Booth led the team this year with a 72.68 stroke average and was the medalist at the Ogio Utah Invitational.

Fidel Concepcion was placed on the second team after a seventh place finish at the conference championships. Concepcion tied for second on the team with a 73.2 stroke average as a freshman. Concepcion was the medalist at the Battle of the Tetons tournament to start the year.

Sammy Cole and Tim Leonard were placed on the honorable mention team after finishing 13th and 18th at the conference championships. Cole tied for second on the team with a 73.2 stroke average and Leonard placed third on the team with a 74.0 average.

The All-Conference Team and individual award winners were selected by the eight conference head coaches. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own golfers. The Big Sky Conference sponsored men’s golf in 2014-15 for the first time since 2001-02.
