A Pair of 66’s Isn’t Good Enough to Beat Wilson’s 64 at Bountiful Ridge Senior Am

At the Bountiful Ridge Senior Amateur there was quite a scorecard shootout.

Okay guys, show your hand!

Bill Probst eagled the first hole and carded three birdies and was bogey free for a 66. Not good enough! Eldon Richter eagled the last hole and had seven birdies, but bogeyed four times for a 66. Good enough to tie Probst, but not good enough to win. And then there was Craig Wilson. He eagled the last hole and had six birdies and only one bogey for a two-shot victory with a 64. Their combined best-ball was 28 on the front and 28 on the back for 56.

But they weren't playing best ball and Wilson's 64 won the title.

The top ten scores were as follows:

64- Craig Wilson

66- Eldon Richter, Bill Probst

69- Rob Bachman

70- Greg Welling, Mark Madsen, Keven Rutherford, Dan Rappleye, Heber Jacobsen

71- Gary Stewart, Karl Avant, Todd Kartchner, Kent Gressman
