Sampson Wins Canyon Hills Senior Am With 64
The Canyon Hills Senior Amateur was thin on entries, but another 100 players probably wouldn’t have changed the outcome.
Brett Sampson, one of the state’s top senior players, shot a 64 to win the gross title by eight shots over Mike Holm who shot even par 72. Mike Jones shot 74, and Rod Painter shot 78. They were the only ones to shoot in the 70s.
Lyle Osborne won low net with a 65.
