BYU’s White Selected to Play in NCAA Regionals; No Utah Teams Get Invite

The NCAA Golf Selection Committee announced the teams and individuals selected to participate in the various regional women’s golf championships next month and no teams from Utah were included in the selection, but BYU’s Alexandra White was selected to play as an individual.

The West regional will be played at Tumble Creek Club at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Washington. Washington will serve as the host institution. Conference automatic qualifiers are indicated in parenthesis next to the institution.

There were 24 teams selected to play in the regional along with six individuals. The regional tournaments serve as a qualifying for the NCAA Championships Tournament.

20. Chattanooga (Southern Conference)
21. New Mexico (Mountain West)
22. New Mexico State (Western Athletic Conference)
23. Portland State (Big Sky)
24. Detroit (Horizon)
