Blair Makes Cut at Zurich Classic

Zac Blair shot a solid 67 to make the cut without a stroke to spare at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans Friday. Tony Finau and Mike Weir missed the cut, and Daniel Summerhays took the week off. Blair stands at four under par 140 on rounds of 73-67.

The second round was suspended because of weather and there are numerous players who will have to come back Saturday morning to conclude their rounds. The cut is expected to be at three under par. Finau finished at four over par on rounds of 72-76-148. Weir shot a first round 74 and although he didn’t finish his round it is unlikely that he can make the cut.

The temporary leaders are Hudson Swafford and Boo Weekly at 11 under par at the midpoint.
