Furyk Ends Winless Skein, Blair Tops Utahns

Jim Furyk, former U.S. Open champion, had gone 100 starts without winning, a stretch that gnawed at his psyche and challenged his confidence, but that all disappeared in uncharacteristic fashion Sunday when he won his first PGA Tour title in five years with birdies on both playoff holes to outlast Kevin Kisner at the RBC Heritage.

Zac Blair topped the Utah contingent with a 44th place finish and a check of $17,413. Daniel Summerhays finished 60th and took home $12,803. Blair shot 70-69-71-70-280 and Summerhays shot 70-70-73-70-283.

Tony Finau tops all Utahns on tour with total earnings of $793,032, but he missed the cut at The Heritage.

Coming up next week is the Zurich Classic New Orleans at the TPC Louisiana Avondale.
