Finau Posts Solid Finish at Houston Open

Tony Finau turned in a solid final round 68 at the Shell Houston Open and climbed up to a 34th place finish and a paycheck of $21,000. His 77 in the third round knocked him out of title contention. He started with solid rounds of 69-68.

J.B. Holmes won a three-way playoff for the title with two pars. Jordan Spieth bogeyed the first playoff hole and Johnson Wagner bogeyed the second hole. 

The trio finished at 16 under par 272.

Next up on the PGA Tour is the Masters, and the only Utahn in the tournament will be former Masters champion Mike Weir.
