Blair Tops Utahns at Palmer, Scene Shifts to San Antonio

Zac Blair topped the Utahns on tour this week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Resort in Florida.  After opening with a 73 he carded 67-71-69 for an under par finish at 280 and earned a check of $59,141.

Matt Every won the tournament with 68-66-69-66-269, 11 shots better than Blair.

Daniel Summerhays shot 73-69-71-72-285 and finished in 55th place and took home $14,427.

Tony Finau missed the cut for the third straight tournament and hasn’t won a check for four weeks.

Finau still tops the Utahns in most money won this year with $759,272. Blair is not far behind at $638,048, and Summerhays is just shy of a half million at $474,256.

The next stop on the tour is at the Valero Texas Open at the JW Marriott TPC course in San Antonio this coming week.
