California Wins Entrada Classic, BYU’s Alex White Takes Medalist Honors
BYU’s Alex White won medalist honors, but California posted the lowest score in all three rounds and easily won the BYU at Entrada Classic held Monday and Tuesday at the Entrada Country Club in St. George. The Golden Bears also had three of the top five individual players.
Host BYU finished second, 20 shots behind California. White was the low scorer each round for the Cougars with rounds of 67-73-68-208. Lea Garner shot a final round 69 for the Cougars.
The tournament attracted a field of 15 teams including five from Utah.
