Pinckney, Finau Falter Down Stretch at Humana
The final round of the Humana Challenge was not a great one for the Utah connection on the PGA Tour.
Former Utahn Scott Pinckney was near the top of the leaderboard halfway through the round, but he bogeyed the last three holes and fell to a disappointing 20th place finish.
Tony Finau double bogeyed the 14th hole and bogeyed the 16th to post his highest score of the tournament, a two over par 74 that dropped him to a 59th place finish and one of his lowest paychecks of the year, $12,000.
Daniel Summerhays and Zac Blair missed the cut by one shot.
The Tour now moves to Arizona for the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Finau, Summerhays, and Mike Weir are entered in the event, but Zac Blair is currently listed as an alternate. Pinckney is not entered.
