Nyhus-Gaiotti Earn Spot in USGA Women’s Four Ball Championship

Sue Nyhus and Annette Gaiotti teamed up to win a spot in the first USGA National Women’s Four-Ball Championship that will be held in May of 2015 at Bandon Dunes in Oregon.

 

The qualifying round was held this past week at Sewailo Golf Club near Tucson and Nyhus and Gaiotti finished in a tie for second to advance to the finals.

 

Ronda Henderson and Janet Weber shot 70 for medalist honors and Nyhus and Gaiotti teamed for an even par 72. Also at 72 was the team of Tui Selvaratnam and Mari Miezwa.

 

Nyhus and Gaiotti are both veteran players on the Utah team in the Arizona Shootout, and Tui Selvaratnam has been the top woman’s player on the Arizona team.
