Finau Finishes in Top Ten at Shriner’s Open in Vegas
Tony Finau earned his first top ten finish on the PGA Tour Sunday at the Shriner’s Open at the TPC Sumerlin golf course in Las Vegas, Nevada. Finau made four consecutive birdies near the end of his final round to leapfrog into a tie for seventh place and earned a paycheck of $193,233. It moved his 2015 money winning record to $310,833.
Daniel Summerhays finished in a tie for 54th place and earned $14,322 and Zac Blair won $11,594 for making the initial cut. He did not play the final round as the PGA Tour has instituted a second cut following the third round.
The tour now moves to the McGladrey Classic at the Seaside Course at Sea Island, Georgia. All three Utahns on tour are scheduled to play.
