Ebalo in Second Place at USGA Mid-Am
Ken Ebalo, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and who often plays in Utah tournaments, shot a two under par 70 and is tied for second place in the USGA Mid-Amateur Championship being played at Saucon Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania. The leader is Scott Harvey of Greensboro, North Carolina is the first round leader with a 65, five shots ahead of Ebalo and four other players who shot 70.
Mark Neider, of Sandy, leads the Utahns in the tournament with an opening round of 74. Ryan Brimley shot 77 and Wright, two-time State Am champion, shot 80.
