Utah State Wins Battle in Tetons Title
Utah State shot a final round 1-under 287 to finish with a 7-under 857 (294-276-287) to win the Weber State hosted Battle in the Tetons held here at the Headwaters Golf Club at Teton Springs Resort on Monday and Tuesday. It is Utah State’s first tournament win since Oct. 17, 2009 when it won the Utah Collegiate Shootout held in St. George, Utah.
Utah State posted a seven-shot win over second-place Utah Valley that finished with an even par 864 (295-293-276). The Aggies sat in fourth-place in the six team field following its first round 6-over 294, before shooting the team low round of the tournament Monday afternoon with its 12-under 276.
