Sampson Wins Karl Tucker Amateur With 64

The Karl Tucker 18-hole event is a separate tournament in honor of the former BYU golf coach.
The 54-hole  Provo Open proper starts today and concludes Saturday.
C.J. Lee shot 66 to finish second behind Sampson. Jose Valle and Jon Bridges shot 67 and there were six players at 68 including Carey Shinkle, Scott Tye, Vaughn Lloyd, J.T. Timmons, Clayton Hislop, and Mark Mortensen.
