Zac Blair Advances to U.S. Open, Medals at Sectional
Zac Blair will be the only Utahn in the U.S. Open.

Johnson and Miller each shot 144 at Lake Merced and those who shot 137 and better advanced. Tony Finau missed by five strokes at Springfield, Ohio.
Mike Weir shot 71-72 and missed qualifying by three strokes at Columbus, Ohio.
Daniel Summerhays, who was qualifying at Brookside Country Club in Ohio, shot an opening round of 70, but withdrew for unknown reason.
New Zealand’s Steve Alker, the winner of the 2013 Utah Championship on the Web.com Tour, advanced from Lake Merced.
The U.S. Open is June 12-15 at Pinehurst, North Carolina.
