Tour Report, Forsman Shoots Final Round 66, Summerhays Finishes 28th at Memorial

On the PGA Tour Daniel Summerhays finished in 28th place at The Memorial Championship on rounds of 74-70-68-72-284.
Dan Forsman had a strong finishing round of 66 on the Champions Tour event in Des Moines, Iowa and moved into a tie for 22nd. He had rounds of 71-75-66-212. Mike Reid finished 39th on rounds of 70-72-72-214. The winner was Tom Pernice with rounds of 68-67-69-204.

Daniel Summerhays shot a third round 68 and moved up to 31st place going into the final round of The Memorial. He is only two shots from a top 15 finish.

Friday, May 30, 2014 Tour Report.One stroke Difference: Summerhays Advances, Weir Misses Cut;  Blair Misses Cut in Canada
Daniel Summerhays made the cut right on the money Friday at The Memorial tournament and Mike Weir missed the cut by one shot. What a difference a shot makes! Summerhays will advance to the final two rounds with a chance to earn a big paycheck, and Weir is preparing for next week.
And for Rory McIlroy, what a difference a day makes. He shot a marvelous 63 on Thursday and on Friday he shot 15 shots higher, a 78, and is now nine shots behind the new leader, Paul Casey who has steadily shot back-to-back 66s.
On the Canadian Tour Zac Blair missed the cut at the PC Championship in Victoria, British Columbia. He shot 72-73-143 and the cut is expected to be at 140.
Thursday, May 29, 2014 Tour Report, Weir, Summerhays Off to Slow Start at Memorial, Zac Blair Playing in Canada
Mike Weir and Daniel Summerhays got off to a slow start at The Memorial Championship. Weir shot one over par 73 and Summerhays was at 74. That puts them both in the lower half of the field. Rory McIlroy holds down first place with a nine under par 63.
Zac Blair, playing on the Canadian Tour this week, shot 70 and is in 50th place after the first round of the PC Financial Open in Vancouver, British Columbia.
