Killpack Wins Sun River Open on Fourth Sudden Death Hole,  Brandon Kida Wins Amateur Crown

Nick Killpack and Theodore Alexander tied for top honors at the Sun River Open Sunday and with darkness looming Killpack won the playoff with a par on the fourth extra hole. Killpack earned $2500 first place money for his hometown victory.
The UGA wants to make everyone aware of the new TPP tournament program that displays all the scores of tournaments at UGA member clubs. The complete results of this tournament, plus tournaments of other member clubs can be found at the following site.

Alexander and Killpack shot six under par 136 on identical rounds of 65-71. Five other pros finished under par including in order of finish Doug Garwood, 137,; Steve Schneiter, 138; Jimmy Blair, 139; Bruce Summerhays, 140; and Todd Meyer, 141.
In the Senior Professional Division David Hall and Kim Thompson tied for top honors at one under par 141.
Brandon Kida won the championship flight by one stroke over Jon Wright and JT Timmons.  Kida who is a junior at the University of Utah fired rounds of 68-73-141.
In the Senior Flight Brett Sampson birdied the first playoff to edge Patrick Murphy for the title. They each finished at two under par 140. Mike Hacker finished third, two shots back at 142.
Brent Marriott ran away with the Super Senior Flight in a spectacular turnaround. He shot 77 the first day and turned it upside down with a final round 66 to win by six shots over Randy Warner. Jim Huegy was the first round leader with a 70, but he fell off to a 79 the second day and finished in a three-way tie for second along with Randy Warner and Lester Perry.
