Xavier Wins Red Rocks Invitational in Arizona, SUU Tops Utah Teams in Women’s Collegiate Event
Xavier won the women’s collegiate Red Rocks Invitational at Oakcreek Country Club in Sedona, Arizona and Southern Utah University topped the three teams entered in the tournament from Utah.
Xavier shot a team score of 588 and won by four shots over Northern Arizona and Sacramento State.
Southern Utah University finished in tenth place at 622 with Utah Valley at 633 and Weber State at 635.
Jacqie LaMarr, of Northern Arizona, was medalist at 141 and Monica Jung of SUU topped the Utahns at 145, good for fourth place individually.
