Cougars Finish Fourth at Jones Invitational

Three warm weather winter schools from Southern California edged BYU in the Jones Invitational hosted by Pepperdine University at Saticoy Country Club in Somis, California Monday and Tuesday.
San Diego State edged USC by one shot to win the team title with a tally of 881. The Cougars were only seven shots behind the winner.
USC’s Anthony Paolucci birdied the 18th hole to earn medalist honors at the Jones Invitational hosted by Pepperdine University, but San Diego State held on to win the team title by one stroke.
BYU finished behind three warm weather winter schools from Southern California, but trailed San Diego State by only nine shots. Jordan Rodgers led the Cougars with rounds of 73-73-76-222, eight shots behind medalist Paolucci.
