Perry, Couples Win Season Finale; Blake, Forsman Earn Warm Winter Break
Jay Don Blake finished in ninth place at the season ending Schwaub Cup and picked up a nice check of $76,000 and Dan Forsman finished 29th and earned $25,000. That ought to make for a nice warm winter anywhere they choose.
Fred Couples won the tournament by six shots and earned $440,000 and Kenny Perry won the season long points list and earned a $1 million annuity.
The tournament was held at Harding Park in San Francisco.
