Summerhays Finishes 23rd in Vegas, Heads to Malaysia
Daniel Summerhays shot a final round 70 and dropped to a 23rd place finish at the Shriners Hospital Classic in Las Vegas Sunday. Webb Simpson easily won the title by a comfortable six shots. He shot rounds of 64-63-67-66-260.
Summerhays was in the top ten during the first three rounds of the tournament with rounds of 66-68-68, but the 70 finish left him at 272, 22 shots behind Simpson.
Summerhays will be traveling to Kuala Lumpur Country Club in Malaysia for next week’s PGA Tour event.
