Wyoming Bests Five Utah Teams in Battle of Tetons
For the second straight year the Wyoming Cowboys bested five Utah college teams at the Battle of the Tetons at Headwaters Golf Club in Victor, Idaho. The Cowboys were led by the play of Kamrin Allen who shot rounds of 77-66-67-210 and earned medalist honors by two shots over Utah Valley’s Brayden Eriksen who finished at 69-72-71-212. Allen’s medalist honor came despite a bad opening round of 77, but he followed that opening round with the individual best scores for each of the next two rounds.
As a team the Cowboys shot 857 and edged Utah Valley by five shots. Southern Utah finished third.
Weber State hosted the tournament.
