Snyder, Chugg Begin Quest for LPGA Tour Cards With So-So Starts
Utah’s Amanda Snyder shot an opening round 75 and stands tied for 102nd place after the first round of the first stage of the LPGA Tour Qualifying School and Kelsey Chugg, the two-time Utah Women’s State Am champion, shot 81 and that was good for a positioning of 202nd place.Snyder’s 75 puts her right on the bubble and so she will need to improve a bit to advance to the next stage. Chugg has some chugging to do, but one good round will put her back in the mix.
