Utah Finishes Ninth at Hogan Cup Matches
Utah finished in ninth place at the annual Eddie Hogan Cup Matches at Riverside Country Club in Portland, Oregon. The tournament brings together the best junior golfers from junior golf associations throughout the west.
British Columbia won the team title with a two-day score of 224-211-435. Washington finished second with scores of 224-213-437. Utah’s scores were 228-229-457.
Representing Utah were Charlie Duensing with scores of 72-77-149; Henry Leng, 78-73-151; Ryan Lowe, 78-79-157; and Kyle Beard, 80-84-164.
Utah finished ahead of Arizona, Idaho, and Nevada, but trailed British Columbia, Washington, Southern Cal, Northern Cal, Hawaii, Oregon, and San Diego.
