Jake Peterson Wins The Barn Am, Tara Green Finishes Sixth

Jake Peterson beat a strong field at the Barn Amateur by two shots with a score of 65. Collegians Devon Purser and Tyler Herzog were two shots back with 67s, and David Jennings and Justin Keiley from BYU were tied for fourth with 68s.
Those five were the only players in Championship Flight that finished higher than Tara Green who tied for sixth with a 69. Green is one of a handful of women players who are teeing it up with the men in amateur tournaments in the state. She made a great showing. If you don’t think so just look at all the big names who finished behind her, and yes, she played the same tees as the championship guys.
So a hats off to Tara. Way to go!
