Desert Hills Easily Wins Fourth Straight Class 3A Girls State Golf Championship

With two players finishing first and second and two others in the top ten individual scores Desert Hills easily won their fourth straight Utah Class 3A Girls High School Golf Championship Thursday at Schneiter’s Riverside by a 32 stroke margin over runnerup Pine View.
Medalist honors went to Katie Perkins of Desert Hills with 89 Stableford points and her teammate Megan Welch was the runnerup with 87. Kyla Smith and Lindsey Short also finished in the top ten.
Desert Hills scored 337 Stableford points and second place Pine View had 305 points. Spanish Fork finished third, another 15 points back.
