UGA Hires Jacob Miller as Director of Rules and Competitions

Bill Walker, Executive Director of the Utah Golf Association, announced that Jacob Miller has been hired as the Director of Rules and Competitions for the UGA and will begin with the UGA Senior Match play at Hubbard Golf Course May 14-17.
“We are happy to have Jacob join the UGA team as Director of Competitions. We have a full calendar of events and he will play an important role in conducting our championships.” Walker said.
Miller, 25, graduated from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2010 with a major in Kinesiology and received his Master Degree in Sport Administration from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jacob’s previous golf experience includes the Tennessee Golf Association as a USGA Intern and the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour as a Tournament Director.
He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and, of course, is a big Packer fan. He grew up in Pulaski, a small town near Green Bay, and graduated from Pulaski High School. His parents are teachers in the Pulaski school district.
