Baird Wins Glenmoor Open; Sirene Blair, Nic Booth Win Low Amateur Honors
Matt Baird, teaching professional at Riverside Country Club, won the Glenmoor Open with a seven under par score of 65. Zach Johnson finished two shots back at 67 and Mark Owen carded a 68 for third place.
Sirene Blair, now a senior at Bingham High School, and Nic Booth, son of Glenmoor head professional Mike Booth shared the low amateur honors with rounds of 70. Last year, as a junior in high school, Blair finished as the second low amateur, behind Dave Booth, a brother of the head pro. Blair was playing from the same tees as the professionals and only three of them besttered her score.
