Summerhays Advances to Weekend at Houston
Daniel Summerhays made the cut by one shot and advanced to the weekend at the Houston Open. He shot rounds of 72-71-143. Steve Wheatcroft is the leader with back-to-back rounds of 67 for a 134, nine shots ahead of Summerhays.
Summerhays was in good company at 143. That group also includes Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelsen, and Justin Leonard
