Blake Finishes 12th, Forsman 27th in Mississippi
Jay Don Blake finished in a tie for 12th at the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic and won $30,000 and Dan Forsman finished two strokes back in a tie for 27th and pocketed $13,000.
Blake started slow, but his strong middle round put him in contention. He shot 74-66-72-212.Forsman also posted a strong middle round, but slipped the last day. He shot 72-68-74.
The tournament was won by Michael Allen with 70-68-67-205 and that was worth $240,000.Oh what a difference a few shots makes!
